Time for the Laurel update! In the past ten days, she's lost about another 10 lbs.
This morning she tipped the scales at
228.0.
(The point I selected is her weight from the previous post.)
The big story well, the smaller story, perhaps, is that
yesterday marked one month since we had performed body measurements. Here's her
progress:
| MEASUREMENT October 17th | MEASUREMENT November 17th | Difference |
Neck | 16" | 15" | - 1" |
Shoulders | 19" | 17" | - 2" |
Upper Arm | 15" | 14" | - 1" |
Chest (above the bust) | 46.25" | 43" | - 3.25" |
Chest (below the bust) | 45.75" | 42.5" | - 3.25" |
Natural waist | 47" | 41" | - 6" |
Hips | 53.75" | 47.5" | - 6.25" |
Thigh | 28.5" | 25.5" | - 3" |
Yes, you read those right: She's lost 6 inches off her waist and 6 1/4 inches off her hips;
3 inches off of her thighs and an inch from her upper arm.
Yesterday was also the first time she's chewed food since a month ago, when she started
the pre-op diet; she's now in Phase 3, which allows her to eat soft foods and pureés.
I imagine she'll be saying goodbye to soup for a little while I'm sure she's sick of it.
