Laurel studies and finds new whiskies for us to try every now and then.
Here's a home run: Willett.
The bottle is shaped like a decanter, with a very long neck at the center,
opening up to a fat bottle bottom only about 1 1/2" tall on the smaller bottle.
I read it's supposed to resemble a copper pot still.
The whiskey smells of honey, fruit, and oak. It tastes a little sweet, and seems
a bit spicy, like a rye whiskey would.
I'm enjoying sipping it neat and chasing with ice water.
