Well, here it is, mid-June 2016 and I've put next to no miles on our bike so far this year.
2015 was dismal for riding after the HOG rally. We found out that Laurel broke her foot during the rally,
and guilt about her inability to ride and my work kept me off the bike for the majority of the year from
June onward.
After the close of the 2015 riding season, we decided we'd sell both of the bikes and pick them up again
later on. In mid-February of 2016, we traded in our two bikes on a 2016 Road Glide Special — an absolutely
gorgeous machine.
My work schedule and my health have kept the bike in the garage so far this year, with exception of a
few small rides "around the block." I continue as the webmaster for
my local H.O.G. chapter, and I've done some work there that I'm really proud of.
