I can't make this stuff up.
We were seated at the dinner table, talking about manners. I began to recount for
kiddo what formal dinners with my grandparents was like.
Me: "My grandparents were very strict at the table. 'Strict' means
they had some very serious rules."
Kiddo: "BUUUUUUUUUUT they're dead."
